[1] You have a "To: " address whose name is "bind9-users at isc.org",
but whose e-mail address is <bind-users at isc.org>. You need to make
up your mind which mailing list you want, and make the two
consistent.
[2] You only need the name resolver client software, not the name
server software. And you already have the client software. Make
sure that /etc/resolv.conf points to your name server, and that
/etc/host.conf and /etc/nsswitch.conf both allow DNS as one way to
look up names. For more information, try 'man 5 resolver',
'man 7 hostname', et alii.
