If your PC is making a recursive query, then the name server should
respond just as if it had gotten the original query directly from the
resolver libraries [which make recursive queries]. So, no, I don't
have any advice. I think I've seen this before, but I'm not sure what
if anything I did to fix it. Do you have the latest BIND and the
latest version [AKA service pack] of whatever OS you are running on the
PC [which you don't specify]?
