Hellow I run solaris 7 and Bind 8.2.2.p5. "Named" has a option which change the user ID (e.g /usr/sbin/named -u 53 ) I want to use this option for security. However "ndc" does not have such a option. If ndc were a shell script, it would be OK. But it's a binary. How can I change the user ID ? Do I have to give up to execute named though ndc ? Best Regards, Matsuhiko Saito
