What it the retry interval for a microsoft and/or a unix based host when a query is sent to it's local DNS server (assuming bind 8.2.1)and it get's no response? What is the retry interval on a dns server (say running 8.2.1) when it asks another server before it resends the same query after not hearing a reply? Thanks
