Besides
named-bootconf < named.boot > named.conf
one must make sure that all zone files are legal: e.g., no names
containing the character '_', and no names defined in zone files where
they don't belong [e.g. mad-magazine.com inside zone internal.sun.com].
In addition, 8.2.2 changed the semantics of the SOA record. The last
item is no longer the default TTL: it is the default negative expiration
time. The default TTL should be added in as a configuration directive
at the beginning of the file, e.g.:
$TTL 86400
It is generally recommended that you use 8.2.2-P5.
