On multi homed host, how to force named to return local address

I have been asked if our DNS (BIND8.2.2-P5) can be configured to provide
the following behavior;

A DB server has interfaces on 4 different subnets. A client when
connecting to the server must always try FIRST to connect to the server
at the interface that is on the same subnet as the client.
This is different than what I understand to be normal DNS behavior which
does round robin and would resolve an equal number of times to each of
the interface addresses in turn.

Is there a way this prioritizing can be done? I don't know how this
could be done.
