Not that I am aware of. WINS of course, is a Microsoft proprietary service.
Microsoft DNS uses two special resource records - the WINS and WINS-R
resource records - for your forward and reverse lookup zones, respectively.
To my knowledge, these records are proprietary to in nature.

Is there any other DNS (BIND or other) implementation in the world that
supports WINS passthrough, than the Microsoft implementation?
Thanks
Johnny
