He claimed "BIND's ad-hoc" mechanism as if it is unique to BIND. The
fact that the mechanism BIND uses is part of the DNS protocol
specification seems to have been conveniently left off.
Are you claiming that Dan does not try to associate the failings of the
DNS protocol suite with the BIND implementation?

In djbdns, support for TCP is optional and requires a separate step
(both in installation and configuration). Further, in the FAQ Dan
indicates that most sites should not need DNS-over-TCP support and
spreads FUD about the use of DNS-over-TCP. Care to give any estimates
on the number of djbdns sites that support DNS-over-TCP?
