Hello,
I have to move the authority for the ofa.on.ca to our name servers:
ns1.broadband.net and
ns2.broadband.net
The db.ofa.on.ca file looks like that:
@ IN SOA ns1.broadband.net. root.ns1.broadband.net.
( 2000082815 10800 3600 60480 6400 )
IN NS ns1.broadband.net.
IN NS ns2.broadband.net.
IN A 206.222.77.162
IN MX 10 maildepot.ofa.on.ca.
IN MX 20 granite.sentex.ca.
maildepot IN A 206.222.77.162
localhost IN A 127.0.0.1
www IN A 206.222.77.162
The problem is that ns1.broadband.net doesn't seem to be authoritative for
the zone:
mailhost.gt.ca:/etc/named.d/primary# nslookup
Default Server: mailhost.gt.ca
Address: 0.0.0.0
> set type=any
> ofa.on.ca
Server: mailhost.gt.ca
Address: 0.0.0.0
Non-authoritative answer:
ofa.on.ca nameserver = ns1.broadband.net
ofa.on.ca nameserver = ns2.broadband.net
ofa.on.ca
origin = ns1.broadband.net
mail addr = root.ns1.broadband.net
serial = 2000082815
refresh = 10800 (3 hours)
retry = 3600 (1 hour)
expire = 60480 (16 hours 48 mins)
minimum ttl = 6400 (1 hour 46 mins 40 secs)
ofa.on.ca preference = 10, mail exchanger = maildepot.ofa.on.ca
ofa.on.ca preference = 20, mail exchanger = granite.sentex.ca
ofa.on.ca internet address = 206.222.77.162
Authoritative answers can be found from:

ns1.gt.ca internet address = 207.107.209.130
gt.ca nameserver = ns2.broadband.net
gt.ca nameserver = ns1.broadband.net
ns2.broadband.net internet address = 209.17.128.34
ns1.broadband.net internet address = 207.107.209.130

When I try a zone transfer from ns1.broadband.net I get also:
Aug 29 06:20:45 named-xfer[10820]: [207.107.209.130] not authoritative for
ofa.on.ca, SOA query got rcode 0, aa 0, ancount 1, aucount 0
Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you,
Constantin
