A question about Whois and the 50 record limit

I know that this is a little off-topic, but I don't know where else to ask. 
I have contacted our friends at Network Solutions, and they have not 
answered (of course)
I would like to be able to retrieve more than 50 records in a search. I 
would be happy if I could retrieve the "next" 50 records in a search, but I 
am frustrated by the message "Aborting search 50 records found". I remember 
the "good old days" when a search would retrieve a lot more records.
I know the whois server at internic is hit pretty hard, but I would be 
working in the wee hours of the morning if I knew how to perform this type 
of search.
Does anyone out there know if it is possible to do this type of search? In 
any way?
