Subject: resolver timeout

Hi, All.
I'm managing two DNS servers run on linux.
One is BIND 8.1.2 and another is BIND 8.2.2.
Except BIND's version, all options of two servers and resolvers are same.
But, I found that maximum timeout length of resolvers was different at each
server(80s/160s).
So, I like to know this reason and the method to make timeout-length same.

And, I wonder how DNS server acts
when DNS server receive too many queries above server's capability.
(fork? stop? down? reject query?)

Thank you.
