Is there any way to find out more detail than:
sendxfer: child 23802 zone 169.134.in-addr.arpa returned status=2 termsig=-1

I used chatr (equivalent of ldd on HP-UX) to find out what named &
named-xfer might be missing.
I copied the libraries into their position in the jail (/usr/lib/libc.1,
/usr/lib/libl.1, /usr/lib/libdld.1) -- to no avail :(
