on the master NS server (ns.domain.com), modify the DNS record to look like
this:
@ IN SOA ns.domain.com. hostmaster.domain.com. (
....
IN NS ns.domain.com <- this specifies the nameserver
for "domain.com"
IN NS ns2.domain.com <- this specifies the secondary
server for "domain.com"
sub IN NS X.X.X.X <- IP address of the name server you want
to host the db files on
sub IN NS X.X.X.X <- IP address of secondary server - if
you want one.
I would recommend the book "DNS and BIND" published by O'Reilly &
Associates. Chapter 9 deals with this issue.
