There is nothing wrong with delegating a single host to DD.
The upper level server has no clue that www is just a single host.
Once it delegates the domain, it doesn't care what is in it.
The general problem with DD is usually when the upper level server is
using a forwarder. If this occurs, then the server will direct the
request to the forwarder rather than the Distributed Director.
