DNS / Bind and Keon / BOKS

Sorry if this is too far off the topic ...

We are looking at moving a large site from a distributed host file mechanism
to a multi-domain private DNS. The site makes heavy use of Keon (BOKS) for
host security. There are a number of shared servers in the environment that
will be known as serverx.infra.net.nz. The business units (in different
domains) wish to use a business unit "name" to refer to the server i.e.
serverx.busunit.org.nz. We had thought that use of CNAMEs would facilitate
this. However Keon is configured by using hostnames in host groups - one
per host.

I was wondering if anyone has this kind of thing working and (here comes the
BIND bit) if there are any features in BIND that might help me work around
the limitation.

Any help gratefully accepted.

Cheers

J.
